I covered the Beamish TT link today at Haggs Bank link near Alston on the A689. Weather was superb and so were the selection of motorcycles taking part. All images with Pentax K3 SE and K5 IIs with 10-20mm, 16-50mm and 70-200mm. Initial upload here link with a lot more to add during the week.

What a great location and just so motorcycle friendly. I went on to Penrith after the event along the A686 and stopped at the Hartside Cafe which is at 1904 feet above sea level. More motorcycles on that road that you can point a camera at.

Best regards

Really good set of golden oldies there Gary. So the road is as popular as ever then. When I was 18 and on night shift I would go home (South Shields) wash and change jump on my Tiger and drive across to the lakes. sleep all day beside Ullswater then back again at night to go to work again. What's the road like now??? It was one of the favorite runs of the (BOYS) back then in the 50's.
Memories. All I get to do now is have a little ride on my little Honda 250 WHEN THE SUN SHINES.
CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.
