Hi Tony,
Don't waste your money. Yes they do work but are a waste of time and money. The meter circuit on all the Spotmatics is a bridged design which is basically independent of battery voltage. A silver cell of the right size works just as well and will give the correct meter readings albeit there will be a slight increase in sensitivity away from the null position. For the same reason, the is no need for expensive short lived wein cells whose main purpose is to make lots of profit for the camera shops

Has anyone used these battery covers (http://www.classic-cameras.com/PX400.htm) and if so do they work???
