Hi,
I know the norn is the CRV3 Batteries.
But can anyone advise which of the new re-chargeable Ni-Hi AA Batteries are suitable.

Any Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride) will do. However, the bigger the better

I generally use 2200mAh, bought from www.7dayshop.com.
They will all work, it's just the higher the capacity the longer they'll last. The *istD seems to run forever on them, I always recharge before they run out!

You need a special charger with NiMH batteries, and, 7 Day shop usually do good deals on a charger and four batteries.

Because of the high capacity, NiMHs can take a while to charge. You might find that two chargers are a good investment.

Incidentally, the prices at 7 Day are often good, but not always. I was surprised, having just bought a 256MB card from them to find that my local camera shop had a 512MB for very little more money.

I use NiMh AA's and always carry a second fully charged set. Never had a problem and only have the one charger. Still have the original non rechargables that came with the camera as an emergency set.......will have to use them before shelf life expires.
