Which photoshop?
In CS5 (and other CS versions i believe) there is an image processor when you look under file and then under script i believe, if not then it's under automate.
The settings of the processor speak for themselves.

Perhaps somebody could help me out please. Is it possible to batch process DNG files to Jpeg in Photoshop or any other image editing software. I've tried Irfanview but I can't get it to work. Thanks in advance.

Adobe Lightroom allows you to export any number of RAW into JPEG.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I have Photoshop 7.0 and PSE 9.

I use PSE7 and I imagine PSE9 will be similar. On the Edit program go to File and then go to 'Process Multiple Files'. From here there are many options which include converting file types.
Hope that helps

This is a guess for PS7
Open all of the DNG,(Adobe Bridge )
They will open in the Adobe Raw interface.
Select one of the files on the LHS.
Make all of the adjustments on the RHS, I would set sharpening to 80.
Select all of the files on the LHS.
This will open up The Synchronize Tab above the files on the LHS you can tick the settings you want to make to all of them.
Any which need individual attention can then be adjusted.
On the bottom of the interface set the size and colour profile.
Select all of the files and click on Save xx Images xx being the number of images you have selected.
All you have to do is set the destination and new file name if needed.

Irfanview will work as well, you may need to install the latest plugins. Irfanview has to be the best and easiest photoviewer out ther, and its free.
