Owls have been out in force a bit lately on the forum Steve! I think 2,3 & 4 are strongest here, 4 really perfect with great framing and ideal background. 2 is very interesting in silhouette and with the object behind, unusual but very effective. 3 has that great wingspan, its just a pity that the sky causes quite a distraction. Thanks for posting these pics of an amazing creature.

No. 4 is breath-taking with that 3D effect!

Could you give us a little of the context in which they were shot?

From a hide?
Where you knew it would be?
Out for a walk, & there it was?
Informed of its presence, or researched & found it?

Any info would be appreciated.....
