Bargain tele-converter, anyone?

I'm afraid I don't have the odd £1k in loose change just at the moment: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TELEPLUS-2x-PK-TELE-CONVERTER-PENTAX-PK-CAMERAS-/390293913...

Mind you, postage is very reasonable!

All the best,

Misplaced decimal point perhaps? £9.99 sounds a bit more realistic!

You never know these days with the silly prices people are asking for Pentax gear. There is a Tamron Adaptall adaptor (PKA) for £73 at the moment. Would you pay an extra £60 not to press a green button?!

I agree £9.99 would be about right.

£73 for a Tamron PKA adapter isn't too outrageous. They would normally be about £50-60.

The PKA mount allows for auto metering like other A lenses. With the PK mount it is necessary to use the green button for manual metering.

In answer to the question of paying extra. The answer may well be dependent on how many Tamron lenses someone has. £60 divided by 3 or 4 or 5 becomes a lot more reasonable
