Bargain Lens or Junk ??

I was in the city today and happened into a second hand store.

I found this lens a German made Steinheil Munchen Tele-Quinar 1:4.5 200mm.
Its an M42 mount with a 16 blade iris (very smooth action)and tripod mount The barell is a little scuffed but the glass is clean. It came with its own leather pouch and has the weight of a brick. So for AU$12 I thought I would snap it up.

Do you think I wasted my 12bucks :

I also grabbed this Olympus eyecup for a buck, which I found fitted my DS, It covers the eye better than the pentax eyecup and keeps your nose off the LCD screen.
It has a glass in it but not magnified.

You could check out link and see if they know anything about the lens, which looks interesting. Lets see some photos from it.

Wow. I will watch that sale with interest
And here was me thinking the Eyecup was the better buy of the two

I had a brief search and the only info of note, was the glass is made of Rare earth and emits low levels of radioactivity Must Keep it away from my eyeball less I turn into the Incredible Hulk.
Perhaps thats why it doesn't have any fungus
