Know the feeling. The local youth have been camping in nearby woods most weekends, leaving loads of trash, bottles and cans. As soon as we clear one lot up...
Lovely images - #3 is my favourite - but maybe slightly lacking in contrast (might be solved by more PP). I think that's why I like #3 best - clearer definition of the elements here.

Hi Tim, I know what you mean on both points, People need educating to take their crap back Home with them! As for the images, they look a lot better bigger! I tend to use NIK Tonal Contrast on my images so they'll look a bit different to ones adjusted with a global contrast filter, and you can't really tell until you see em a decent size. unless you've overdone it, then they look really crap!

Yes - after I posted I realised they'd probably look v. different bigger!
Second time today Nik software's been mentioned to me... is it any good? Looks pretty pricey but I have a feeling one day I might need to go beyond just LR3 for PP.

Hi Tim, Yes I'm afraid they're very good!Yes - after I posted I realised they'd probably look v. different bigger!

Pricey yes but capable of an enormous amount of effect very quickly and in a controlled/repeatable manner, they plug nicely into Lightroom too.
I can do things with these that I would struggle with in Photoshop, Everything is however do-able in Photoshop, it would just take me far
longer... (others mileage is however bound to vary:twisted
