Great shot of the castle, but ruined by the foreground
Have you part converted it to B&W? ..... I would imagine it
would look fine in colour.
I might get a B&W Browser for this forum

I think it is a great shot. Foreground and all. It looks just how I remember it back in the 60's in my long lost youth. Oh Happy Days.

Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

Wow! Fantastic photo! That cloud (sundog?) at the corner is superb!
Have you tried cropping it to a wider ratio? Just might work!
I like it as it is though.

I quite like the foreground too, and unless the rocks have become radioactive since my last visit they're about the right colour.
Speaking of my last visit (about 3 years ago), I note from your picture that some vandal has demolished my sandcastle

Nice castle. Looks as bold as Minas Tirith.

I think it would work better if you cropped the foreground rocks out Stan.
Also there seems to be a halo all along the length of the image where the sky meets the land.

I shouldn't worry about it: I'm totally dyslexic when typing and have to proof-read everything. Transposing the letters of even short, commom words is my speciality.AAAAAAArrrrrrrggggggggg I've know ideer how I mispelt it by missing the guh offof the tytle think it was caused by a brain fart!! What great detail and sharpness Stan. I bet this would make a brilliant large print. The streak of cloud in the sky is very helpful to the composition.
I'd love to go to Northumberland but it's a VERY long way north for us...
Best wishes,
Andrew
