Backpack advice

My current bag is a Lowepro Cirrus holster type, which can hold the K100D plus attached lens (Tamron 18-250 or Sigma 10-20).
Even if the DA40mm Ltd is mounted, there is no room to carry either of the other lenses.

Whilst this bag is very light and compact, it's also very limited.

I am now considering purchasing a smallish backpack which would be able to carry all of the above. Three options so far are;

Tamrac Travel Pack 71
Tamrac Adventure 6 Backpack
Lowepro Slingshot 100

There isn't much difference price wise between all 3.
If anybody has experience of any of these, I would appreciate your comments and feedback.

Regards
Adrian

My preference would be the Tamrac Adventure 6. I have the model 7x of this bag and it is truly excellent. The slingshot has only one strap which makes it convenient for swinging round from you back to your front but can end up being painful as it puts all the weight on one shoulder. It's a lot better than a shoulder bag but not as good as a backpack.

Hi adrian i am currently looking at the lowepro vertex 300aw backpack or the tamrac summit myself.I can vouch for the Tamrac's they are very durable and hard wearing.

I use a Lowepro Slingshot 100, it takes either of my cameras plus acouple of lenses.

The down side is it hangs on just one shoulder, but this makes it easily accessible, the up side .

I also have a Lowepro Fastpack 200, this is more of a traditional rucksack with camera section at the bottom and bag at the top. It's also bigger, check the Lowepro site for details.

Mine came form Amazon, the price was right!

Both bags are superb quality, as they should be at the RRP!
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.

I have a slingshot 100 that I am not using anymore. It is a great bag, but I really needed one that had the strap over the left sholder due to an old injury which makes carring the slingshot all day a little uncomfortable. Still mine did me very will for over a year.

PM if you are interested.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
It seems that the winner will be the Slingshot 100.

Right now you'll not find a better bargain than this. It's a much better bag than the Slingshot 100.
