Back in Barry - Set 1

So! can't keep away from Barry Island and still looking to expand my images for the When The Fun Stops project.

Thanks all, yes, it's a shame that you don't have to look far now to see the abuse, lack of reinvestment or the effects of time and lack of repairs.


Hey Daronl, best thing would be to check my posts created which goes through the images as I shoot them. Right now, here on PU is probably the largest collection of the images as elsehwere, I've pulled either them or work about them. There was a link to an online book that was work in progress that I have pulled, as even though it was a compressed file, it still was downloadable and printable. I trust most here but there isn't a members area where only 'us' can see content and seeing as any Tom Dick or Harry could come along, I pulled the link. On my website there is a small write up and a few images on a slideshow. Originally I had all the images there but after speaking to a few well known documentary photographers, they said who's going to buy your book when all the images are there to see, so there was a cull!

Totally true. I guess it's the same the world over with the small seaside resort towns. What once was the thing to do, now sadly isn't.
