Well captured. Who needs to go out in the wild when all the action is in your back garden - coffee and all.
Best regards

Is that all on a tripod Danny? And, what is the 2nd last chap called? The overcast doesn't seem to have caused any problems with these images.

My vote goes for Coal Tit too. A really good set, considering the state you were in!! My favourite has to be No. 4 the Starling feeding the young one - really shoving that food pellet in!!fatspider wrote:
2nd to last shot is a Great Tit, this one must have quite a number of chicks to feed looking at the rather neglected state of itself.
EDIT:
ps nice shots Danny.

Coal Tit? I think you guys are right, but it is difficult to say in that begraggled state. I was using the size of the Starlings and the feeder as a reference, Coal Tits are quite smaller than Great Tits, although now its pointed out and I've had a good look at the markings (or lack of) it does look like a Coal Tit.
I'm upset now cos' I thought I was perfect

Yup, all on the tripod but shutter speeds lower than usual as for some (hungover?) reason just wasn't willing to push ISO to 3200 or more in the middle of the afternoon! Is that all on a tripod Danny? Was also told the 2nd last one is a coal tit!
Thanks all for the kind words, will try to resume normal service this week!

Not my usual thing as I would rather shoot in the wild, but then I did have a hangover and the coffee supply was handy!
