I went out into the garden to get some bay leaves for a stew when i spotted these, I think they are hibernating although i don't remember ever seeing them do this before.

What a little huddle! Well spotted. I really like the shallow depth of field here with OOF elements both in front of and behind the main subjects

I would suggest a touch more 'Low Contrast' (ie a small black boost overall) just to firm it up.

One good thing is they are UK based 7 spot ladybirds and not those others from abroad with multi colours and multi spots that eat our lovely 7 spot ones.
