Autumn Vine Leaves

Rapid changes to the colours and amount of leaves on the vine over the last few days - the last few tiny grapes were eaten by the birds or squirrels (not sure which?) - these were taken with the SMC Pentax-A* 135mm f1.8 on the K1 MkII...

The colours in #2 are exquisite. The pink foreground and green back ground - works so well. As always, great capture.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

Super light and contrast in the second one. The 135/1.8 is stellar.

Thank you for all the kind comments - it's my favourite time of year for photography, a two minute step out into the garden can last close to an hour sometimes

I love the 1:1.8 bit. Not so keen on the squirrels bit. Their numbers have exploded this year.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Another lovely set of photos of something seemingly mundane to which most people wouldn't give a second glance. The eyes of a master and the lens to match. But mostly the eyes .

Birds or squirrels? My money is on wood pigeons. Always wood pigeons. Flying stomachs.
