Autumn mist - or just fog?

This set has divided opinion in our house. I was trying to capture the lovely warm effect of the morning sun beginning to burn off the mist at Studley Royal deer park recently. "Just looks like a boring foggy day to me," said my daughter. Anyone care to comment? I won't be offended if everyone agrees with her and says it's just wishful thinking on my part!

I think, for my money, that she's right in number one. It's neither one nor the other. Too foggy at the top and not enough at the bottom.
Number 3, though, I do like and it screams Autumn to me.
