A close up on the trees texture and rougness would make a nice natural abstract.

looks like the willy (sorry, I said it, I'm bad) tree fell down between the two trunk, stripping the bark off itself (on the sides) and them at the contact points, creating a temporary path for the sap which enabled the trees to heal over the top.
Either that or an Ausie with a very large tool, drilled a 'kin great big hole in them for a laugh

Haha sounds like something they'd do...they love their large tools (that was in no way meant to be a sexual innuendo )

I'm sorry but I am disgusted and appalled that Don should turn this forum into a source of sexual innuendo, perhaps it would have not been so bad if he'd have place a black strip across the tree with the words CENSORED in white lettering.
As for the second shot I believe Don is grossly mistaken in identifying the subject, I for one dont think its an anthill but on the other hand I wasn't aware that there were any giant Elephants in Australia.

PS; Keep em' coming Don

I hope it wasn't an extremely large bird of Oz who left it...

LOL thanks, glad to see the sense of humour is still out there.
Going back out for a couple of days camping, hope nothing lands on the tent.
C&C welcome.
Don.
