At last, decent weather in Snowdonia !!

Yesterday at last produced some decent landscape photography conditions amongst the Snowdonia mountains so I had an early rise to catch the sunrise..luckily the reflections on Llyn Ogwen were terrific. The lighting was still pretty good during my hike through the Glyderau mountains too, here are a few shots

BTW - I continue to be impressed by the K20D, the detail it captures is fantastic. I'm also pretty convinced that the SR is better than my previous GX10 as I usually use a monopod whilst hiking and the K20D seems to produce a much higher percentage of "pin-sharp" images

Great shots, Simon.

But tell me, is the water always so still, or do you have an editing secret?
Best regards
Terry

Thanks for the comments everyone..it was nice just to get out without the waterproofs on - the photos were a bonus !!

Hi Terry....I can see that you are not familiar with North wales - the water is rarely still, normally the gale force winds make it appear more like the sea - this was a relatively rare day in Snowdonia, at least for the last couple of years
