is anyone else "hearing" the Star Trek theme as they look at these?

Excellent, well done for braving the cold! Were these taken in a dark sky area?

These were taken from home (inner city) so there was lots of light pollution.Excellent, well done for braving the cold! Were these taken in a dark sky area?
I haven't done anything recently even though I picked up the DA300. An attempted burglary at the turn of the year spooked me enough to have me avoid staying in the garden alone (in the dark) for extended periods of time. It's sad but true.

Thank you very much for your encouraging words
Please guys, do take astrophotography up. We're blessed that Pentax makes it so accessible. The O-GPS1 unit is amazing and it comes as standard with the K3ii and K-1.
If anyone requires any help at all, feel free to message me. I'm awful at it compared to some of the guys around on the internet so it's always a learning curve.

I like the opening image! Can you PP it so the blacks have a stronger black point ?

It was really hard to get the noise level down and still preserve the dust clouds from what I can remember. I had other versions that had more punchy blacks but I ultimately preferred this version.
