Jon, sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. My condolences to you and your family.
It is good that you managed to get to the funeral. It will probably do your wife good to be able to spend a bit of time with her family at this difficult time.

Sorry Steve but mid week is out of the question, just too busy at work.
Clarky - Parramatta bit of a trek from here and as already posted, tomorrow I'm inked in to go over to Moorebank.
Current prospects are I'm (oops "we're" - have the BOSS with me ) stuck here until next Saturday late pm. So a mid week liason at Circ Quay is a runner if it works for you (and any other PU user in Sydney - resident or refugee like me).

No worries Clarky.
Still hope to get off as per scheduled but the high pressure system off the UK not showing signs of shifting, so the ash cloud just get bigger and bigger. BBC have a lovely graphic on their news page - looks like Spain will soon be only European country not under the ash cloud. Might still be here next weekend......

Sorry to hear about your wife's mum Joe! Hope you get things sorted out. I read that John Cleese took a £5,100 taxi from Norway to Belgium yesterday due to lack of aircraft!
Another case of mixed blessings here too. Flew out to Hong Kong almost 3 weeks ago to see family, and was supposed to fly back to the UK 2 days ago. We are checking with the airline every day but no sign of any flights yet! We've been told it could be anywhere from a week to a month before we get back to the UK!!!

Yeah I heard some transatlantic flights have been landing at Edinburgh and Aberdeen, plus some in Ireland. It's probably not an option though, the flight would be a 20+ hour monster going that way round and we have a 3 year old with us. Not to mention the rather large expense
