Les....if I may make a suggestion....
Try fog and mist at night. With the ambient light it can create some epic images.
And image #2.... For me B&W in daytime in fog/mist, give an image an ethereal feel

I am never out of the house after 5pm and the only things round the house are fields and cows so won't really be epic images ☺
