Slime Mould.





I've become interested in these (Slime Moulds) of late.
They are beautiful in themselves &, what's more, they don't run away from a macro lens.

Read all about them & have a look for them.
You will find some!
They're interestingly small but not impossibly so!! (These are about 1.5 mm. tall)

I think there are some more "on the way" in the decayed wood foreground.

Oh yes! I can see why you've become interested in them. Strange and wonderful things. Aren't some of them huge single cells which behave in a way that seems almost intelligent?
