Kinda happy.

I've been entering this years APOY (Amatuer Photographer of the Year) competition and so far nowt BUT this months round I made it into the top 15 entries!

Here is my image in their top 50 images for this round which was labelled 'The wider perspective'

Well done, Gareth. How nice to have a "local" Pentax lad doing so well. Anyone who wins APOY fully deserves it. Most professionals specialise in one or two areas and so get very good but that competition demands an eclectic approach and genuine flexibility. You also have to plan and take the pictures whilst still doing the day job.

(I count you as local as I can, on a clear day, see your manor!)

Thanks all, I'm pretty stoked! Now to up the ante and win a round!

We should have a section for external comps like this where we can upload to to get feedback and share images before entering the comps so we can push Pentax and get users images up there also?!
