I picked up a Practika with a similar set of lenses for almost nothing.
My lenses are Zeiss Jena models, a 35 F2.4 and 135 F2.8. Both are lovely lenses and work particularly well combined with an M42 adaptor and a *istD series body. Not so great with the K10D because of the well documented exposure issues, but even there works pretty well.

I have a DS which works just about the same as the D in terms of metering or doesn't it?

I am looking forward to try something out. Today I was looking to some old stuff my dad got from someone. It was a nice kit with an old Praktika SLR (rebadged for the Netherlands as a "Pentor Super TL".
It came with 3 lenses, a 1.8/50 a 2.8/29 and a 2.8/135
The 2.8/135 is something I am looking forward to try out on my DS after my M42 adaptor arrives. I cleaned it up a little (removed the front element to clean it nicely).
I was looking through it and then I saw that the aperture is allmost a perfect circle at small openings. A quick count gave me a staggering 15 or 16 aperture blades.
It is a full manual lens as it is, it has no coupling to the camera for the aperture at all. So you have to focus with the lens wide open and then do the metering at the desired aperture. (but you have to work like this anyway with a M42 on a K mount camera I suppose).
[edit]
The lens is on this page, it is the Pre-Set one.
