Looks a sharp lens if you could hold it steady, something they didn't manage to do on some of the photos on Flickr. A couple of concrete pillars would be steady enough

A friend of mine is a professional wildlife photographer and he works out at the gym just so that he can hand hold this kind of thing.......

$950 for a lens with fungus? I know he says he's killed it, he may even believe that, but I wouldn't take that gamble.

I like how he says the fungus will be easy to remove, I will bet anything he has never had one apart in his life.

I believe the price is quite reasonable really. AU$900=440quid. The 500mm version of these lenses can fetch these kind of prices in good condition.
