Anyone into this?

I've recently been introduced to this by my cousin. After trawling through endless unbelievably awesome photos of orbs and wire wool spinning, i thought i'd have a go. The results were decidedly OK and i lost interest after the camera ate through the fourth set of batteries after only 8 shots. Does anyone have any suggestions for improving battery life on the K100d super? I'm struggling to find battery packs for it. Cheers

Clever stuff, but seams like a lot of work for arts sake!

Cool, there was a funny youtube video where someone tried to do it with a Pentax Q and failed quite miserably.. Digitalrev I believe.
How long was the exposure?

It was 84 seconds, iso 400, f11.

Nice shot ,Big wilko .. I've got a K100 and I use sanyo eneloop batteries most of the time and a set of Energizer lithiums as a back up if I'm away from home and can't recharge the eneloops, I think I've had the Lithiums for 18 months now and they still read fully charged when I stick 'em in the camera..Jeff..

Cheers Jeff! I'm going to London this weekend. I'm going to try and do some of these in the city maybe at some famous landmarks.

The main problem i have is that the batteries appear dead when they're 'mid-photo' but then when i get home and put them in the charger, they take about 5 minutes to charge. I think it's time for some new ones

I'll pick up some Energizer Lithiums today, just in case. I should have a chance to recharge at the hotel, but if not, maybe they'll come in handy.
