What does APO stand for?
What? No Auto Focus?
Will the 10D antishake handle this? Handheld?

As soon as someone comes up with a bright lens - 2.8, we slap a teleconverter on it. Sigma knows this and throws one in! Depth of field = same as a microscope.
They'll sell like hotcakes.

Apochromatic
means it's corrected for chromatic aberration across the visible spectrum, or possibly a specific method of doing this. Sigma like APO lenses, and I can't say I blame them.
