ant and spider macors

Heres a few ant and spider macros! enjoy.


Pentax k10d + smc pentax-FA f4 28-70mm and using a male to male adapter to mount an extra 50mm lense backwards on the front.



With a homemade flash diffuser.

Those are very good, excellent detail on all three. Where'd you get the adapter?

Hey Tom, thought just yesterday that we hadn't heard from you in a while! Excellent shots again - that diffuser seems to do the trick.

just a quick question about the macro images the second lens you mount on backwards does it have to have an aperture ring or can you use a pentax 1stds kit lens

If you use the kit lens then you will only be able to use it wide open, however I don't find this to be a problem, because if you use a manual lens and stop down the second lens you can get severe vignetting and it doesn't seem to affect d.o.f very much.
