I bought one at the end of July (0, charged it up, and it's still going strong I don't know how many photos I have taken with it, but it's lasting a lot,lot longer than rechargeable AA's. It also better for portrait shots, only downside is there's no shutter release button on it.
Conclusion: as a alternative power source it is brilliant.
Just checked my photos, and I have taken over 800 so far, some with flash, and it's still showing full

I've got one on a K100d, and it does exactly what it says on the tin, so to speak.
It's a little 'plasticy', and surprisingly lightweight, but it's robust enough and fits the camera well. The existing battery door slides into the grip, so you don't have to remove it, and it gives you a bit more to hold onto when using the camera.
It's a lot less ugly than any other battery grip I've ever seen for the K100d, and there is no doubt being able to take hundreds of shots even if onboard flash is used between recharges is useful.
It's not perfect, but it's the best grip easily available for the K100d I think.

Serendipity / Tooks thanks for the info , looked at them on SRS Website but they have none left and they do not know if they will get more in. I've found a site called Tantronics which has them in for £65 so I'm tempted to buy one , I reckon it would probably cost less than 8 CRV3's or the equivalent in Lithiums over a period of time.
Where did you get yours from ?

Yes, got mine from SRS too.
Tantronics look like a good bet though, and they are 'official' stockists.
It says you get a car charger too, which I never got with mine!

Thanks guys , I might give Tantronics a go. I emailed SRS and they advised they had none in stock and didn't know if they would get anymore in.

Looks like a long term cheaper bet than keep buying batteries as it self charges.
Any info from existing users appreciated.
