Lovely shot Roger. Well focused and sharp. The shape is great and I particularly like the undulations in the main body of water.

What technique did you use for this?

Thanks for your comments, Bob.

A plastic bag of water with a very small hole in is suspended about 18" over a small food container, in a larger tray. I hung mine from a tripod with an extension arm.
Folded white card b/g to give black, white & grey "image" in the drop.
K7 on tripod. AF 240 FT flash on its stand, aimed at the card b/g.
Flash on low, manual. Low ambient light.
Take care not to get the lens splashed.

I watched the drops form & then drop.
I found that if I fired the shutter, with Remote Control F, just as the drop fell, it captured the splash....
...now & then!

This is not an exact science!

I think I scored something like 10 useable shots from 200-odd.

Have a go, it's good fun & most satisfying when you do get a good'un!
