I think it looked around expecting to see Alan and almost choked on its nuts when it wasn't him

A thoroughly enjoyable day anyway Barrie

Had to stop and read that again.

Looks like the practice is starting to pay off .. first 2 are great, third looks a bit over sharpened (which has also introduced some noise) and the focus is a bit off in the last.

Certainly getting better though.

Thanks Mike,
I'm quite pleased with the first two and they were the two that needed the least "tinkering with". I need to get a better support for the lens, a bean bag, and try not to rock the car so much

I was of course referring to the peanuts in the squirrel's mouth

One and two are really good Stan, much better than anything I've ever done and ones to be proud of!

Not so sure about the last two but they can't all be winners!

Excellent shots the first 2 Stan.#3 is not too shabby either, just been oversharpened I think.

But be honest. Did you take these or was it my little red shooting buddy

I was hoping Barrie would have a spare K5 "Red" could use to take a snap of us taking a snap of him , I wasn't sure if "Red" would be able to cope with a gripped K7 so just left it at home

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments
