Apparently on a German site there are photos of the new K200D. I haven't found the originals, but have seen them on a Dutch photo forum. Looks like it is weather sealed, has a grip, a green button and a RAW button. Probably 10MP. Using the Dl viewfinder.

If you want to see the photos you can at this forum:

Obviously the description is all in Dutch.

Oh just found this is English: http://gizmodo.com/338918/supposed-pentax-k200d-pictures-leaked-all-over-the-web

And this with a link to the German site:http://www.photographybay.com/2007/12/29/pentax-k200d/

This one is gonna hurt the D40x makers and users big time
And the D80 users won't enjoy it either

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

The folk over at Pentaxforums.com have been going nuts about the new dSLR bodies for weeks.

Weeks and weeks and weeks.

Ben stokes them all up, then retires to his armchair and doubtless has a good chuckle.

Please let's not sink to the same depths between now and the 24th, or whenever it ends up being.

All I know about it is that, other than actual ability, it's lenses that will enable me to take the pictures that at the moment I can't, not the new bodies.

BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN IF YOU PUSH THE GREEN BUTTON!!!!

seriously though, it's all in the manual...
I use mine in manual mode for fast exposure readings...
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

I already posted the new Pentax camera that is called the "Pantex DX20" since merging with the "Tampax" company, needed for their expertise in moisture absorption technologies.

Here is the link to the photo and the proof..I think?

It's certainly proof of something.

Happy New Year to you Ben, may your inimitable brand of insanity continue to entertain us all in the coming year.
