I notice in the report. Quote "Billed as the only 645MF camera to support both focal plane and leaf shutters". Unquote. This is not quite right. I have the 75mm leaf shutter lens with my Pentax 645. This lens connects electrically with the camera to make the camera shoot at 1/8th. of a second and then shoots at the speed set by the user. (Faster than 1/8th.) Therefore allowing the camera to use flash at up to 500th. of a second. CHEERS Vic.

What they mean Vic (although I agree it's not what they've written) is that it's the only 645MF digital camera to support both focal plane and leaf shutters.I notice in the report. I'm assuming that the Pentax 645D will also offer this feature as there are already existing LS lenses that some folk will want to use on it.
In fact, the more I look at what's available in terms of MF digital the more I'm convinced the Pentax offering will blow most/all of them out of the water - especially if the £6000 price tag is true.

There are already two DFA645 lenses on the roadmap, a 55 f/2.8 and a ultra wide so is there really something to worry?
How many digital lenses did we have when the first Pentax DSLR arrived???

I don't want to go into huge detail, but the sharpness on the print will relate to the circle of confusion that we allocate for the format and the resolution in lpmm on the print. This also depends on viewing distance.
Very complicated to describe all the inter-connected factors involved..
