Another 'Guess the Plant'

This time it's flower buds. I've had the plant for several years, this is the first time it has produced buds. Will they or won't they open? There are different opinions online. So what is it (preferably without using the G machine)?

K3iii + Irix 150mm macro.

Thoughts, comments, wild guesses welcome as usual.

Very close. Give that man half a cigar! It is a Sarracenia, but not that one, or at least it doesn't look like the RHS picture. To be honest, I've lost the plant label and can't remember what variety it is. For those who don't know, Sarracenia are Pitcher Plants. There are several species and hundreds, perhaps thousands, of varieties.

As I don't know what variety of Sarracenia it is, perhaps it is Sarracenia Thingy .

I've found the label! It's Sarracenia Leucophylla Compacta. May the knowledge fill your lives with joy and happiness .
