Angle finders

The subject of Angle Finders has come up a couple of times and I happened to come across this ebay shop:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/VirtualVillage_W0QQssPageNameZVIStoreHeaderLinksQQtZkm?
The finder is described as C***n/N***n but in fact includes an adapter for M series finders. Made by Seagul & shipped from China - I don't know what the quality is like but it is a lot cheaper than the Pentax option.

Anybody know anything about it?

Hi,
I haven't seen one of these but for £30+, I am sure you can find a good second hand Pentax one.

Hi,

Good optics cost money...cheap optics are to be avoided at all costs, there is always a quality trade off. If you like to look through the end of a milk bottle, buy a chinese optical device. It will certainly make your photography more interesting, but not any better!!

Cheers Steve.

Unfortunately the later 'M' angle finder (which also has a useful 2x magnification option) is quite rare second hand and usually goes for rather more the 30+ quid. The older finder (which fits spotmatics and the K series) is more common but does not fit the later cameras.

I had heard that Olympus angle finders fit Pentax 'M' finders. Can anyone confirm this?

(Just had a pleasant afternoon wandering round a village with MX, 40/2.8 and Delta 400)

I should think that the Seagull would be ok and not at all bad for the price.

This is also available though: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2X-Angle-Finder-for-Pentax-ist-D-ist-Ds-ist-DL-MZ-6-etc_W0QQitemZ7562688756QQcategoryZ30020QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Die my dear doctor, that's the last thing I shall do!
