The need to build the IR transmitter is the thing that is putting me off trying this. Come on someone - bundle the App and a ready-made transmitter and sell them on ebay!

Nice one, my Samsung phone has an IR thingy, and I am always forgetting my remote. I will try the app out soon.

But shipping is only to US it seems
