Like some members I have no idea why David had to issue an apology.

Nonetheless, I fully echo MattyH's thoughts about David's photos, skill and helpfulness towards other members.

I was wondering what I had missed....

Perhaps I should add my 2p worth and mention that the AF540FGZ doesn't overheat like the SB-900 does....now I realise that when Nikon has a product that ends in 10....the previous variant is the development model, ie the Austin Maxi of the photographic world.

I think it's best we just 'let things be'. I appreciate the messages of support but I have no wish to antagonise anyone. It's just a hobby (in my case anyway) and not worth upsetting anyone.

Best wishes
