Stunning! Perhaps ludicrously fast drive mode has some uses after all!

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

The first of those also features on the BBC website, which has some great bird photos - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8487031.stm.
Interesting though to see what happened next

K10D's link does work - well on my Mac it does

If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.
Apparently.

How weird that the link doesn't work. I tried it before posting and it worked. I went back to the Beeb's site and found it again :
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8487031.stm same URL.
Anyway to find it without the URL go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/ , click on Science and environment, and then on the lower right - most popular stories - Saturday - Beautiful birds.
It really is worth the effort.

Now they aren't the same... there is a dot "." at the end of the first one and not the second one.Second link to the photo works a treat,Gwyn. Spectacular (as is KD10D's offering). Thanks for sharing them. The URL thing's a mystery. They're both exactly the same.
Indeed amazing photos, you must be quite lucky capturing such one.

Well spotted, Stefan. I went from one to the other a few times and missed this. Eyes must be getting old.
