Am I being totally daft?

I'm trying to send PMs on this forum but every time I click 'post' my messages are staying in my outbox and I cant see any way of getting them from there. I've noticed a few from months ago stuck in there too ( and I just thought the intended recipients were too rude to reply

Does anyone know what to do?

Yes, nothing.

Don't panic, it's normal. PM's will stay in your outbox until they are picked up by the recipient.

If the PM's are still in your outbox after a long time, the recipient hasn't read them.

I have three PM's from you, all the same. lol
I believe you'll have to wait until they are collected (read) before they go to the sent box.
Clearly you have some that have not been read and just sat there for months. I would delete those or re-send them but if they haven't been read after a few months then I doubt they will be read if you re-send them.
Maybe a tutorial (sticky) on PM's would be good.
