AF540 fps speed

I have found an AF540 flash for a good price, can someone tell me who has one with a k-5 if the flash keeps up with the 7 fps and at what flash power.

My mets 48 keeps up at 1/8 power and my Yuongnuo 560ii keeps up at 1/4 power.

After having a good look see to answer this question it seemed like the answer was, it only fires at 3fps when the flash is fitted. This seems to be true in P-TTL and manual. But in A mode at sensible settings it will fire at the full 7fps. It trips by a shot after 2ish seconds but cracks on after. With the external power pack fitted it will fire at 7fps until blindness sets in!
