I bought an AF360FGZ about a year ago. I am looking for a base so it can hold itself upright on a table (for example). I believe such an accesory was bundled with the flash in some markets ?
Can anyone advise the part number for the Pentax part or any alternative ?
TIA

I have a couple of these cheap chinese flash stands, I find they are better built than the Pentax one you get bundled with the AF540-FGZ.

the last spare one I had I gave away..

but here is one idea I use...

I have a hotshoe adaptor I use with my radio slave, it is threaded for tripod on bottom.
I have a tiny tripod for small cameras for use on tabletop.
I have a bmx bicycle grip.

I can attach the shoe to the pod and slip it into the bicycle grip for a "Handle mount" flash, and pull the grip off for "Table top" use.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

I tried it with a tiny tripod attached but the stupid coiled cord just pulls it out off position. That is the next issue, how to straighten stupid coiled cords ! I did order a normal cord but they wer out of stock so I ended up with the "normal" coiled one.
Maybe I should just use wireless mode.

For which I am very grateful. It gets frequent use.

My husband bought me a Justin clamp too which is also useful.

I've the wireless cactus v4 and I can fit the AF540FGZ on it and it stands on the table on that quite nicely but not super stable though it's a bit narrow but it works.

I've got a hate on for the pc socket cords, and have resorted to cutting the pc sockets off and replacing them with 1/8 phono plugs where ever possible... then I use cheap headphone cords.... for extensions splitters etc...
