AF 500 FTZ compability with which Pentax camera's

Not sure if anyone can answer this, but the AF 500 FTZ is compatible or can used successfully with which Pentax models, old and new? Sorry, but a genuine comprehensive list would be good. Thank you in advance...

Technically, the correct answer is that it can be used with any Pentax body having a hot shoe in manual mode. It will also work well with any TTL enabled Pentax film/digital bodies. On a Pentax digital body, I only have experience of the *istD and K10D. It works reasonably well in TTL mode on the *istD, whereas it will only work manually with the K10D as that body does not support TTL flash (it uses P-TTL instead).

Interestingly, I think this is the only Pentax flash that has a multiple flash mode (ie: many flashes per image). I can't think of anything interesting to use it on though . . . yet.

If you have a Pentax digital body, the best flash units by far are the AF360FGZ and/or the AF540FGZ.
