Advice on lens rationalization

Over the past year I have been upgrading my lens collection, as I finally found again time again for photography.

But as both me and my father always used Pentax, I find myself with a number of older lenses which I do not use and I hope to find a new home for.

I would like to ask the advice of the experts on the forum on the fair price I should ask for those which still have a market value so I can decide what to do with them. All of them (except the Tamro 28-105) were bought new by my father or myself, and have been taken good care of, but of course they have a certain amount of dust internally, due to their age.

Pentax a 35-105 3.5
Pentax m 75-150 4
Pentax fa 100-300 4.5-5.6 power zoom
Tamron AF 28-105 4-5.6

There are also a few others, but I suppose they do not have real value, or am I wrong?

Vivitar 28-210 3.5-5.6 - this is built like a tank, with 'a' position
Vivitar 70-210 4.5-5.6 - this is not built like a tank, all plastic, but 'a' position
Sigma zoom master 35-70 3.5-4.5 - 'a' position
Sigma mini wide 28 2.8
Kenko tele plus mc4 2x converter

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

I'll have a bash

I guess the 100-300 and 28-105 are probably worth about 60 each.

The rest might be somewhere around 30 each, but I expect the zooms will be quite hard to sell.

I reckon the A35-105, if it's in good nick, is probably worth 80+ in a private sale - actually probably closer to 100. Last one I saw go on Ebay (to MikeW I think - if I hadn't been in Colombo I would have gone for this myself) went for about 75, if I'm not mistaken. Dealers have them at 130+.

These unimaginative Mikes are confusing - that should have read MikeP not W!

Were you the culprit, Mike?

That 35-105 is a very good lens. I bought one with "fungus issues"for about 5 of your English squids, and it cleaned up just fine, and produces very good results. The real value, however,is probably around the 100 pound mark. I reckon the 75-150 might be similar in value. Good luck.
