Add Notification Button

Following numerous requests, an Add Notification button has been added in the gallery.

You will find this on the page for an individual image and you can select and deselect the option for an individual image as you wish.

In the Gallery it enables e-mail notification when someone comments on an image, just like on ePHOTOzine.

One of the disadvantages of the Gallery has been that we didn't know if someone had commented unless we continually checked every photo.

By the way, you can add notification to all your exisiting images if you wish - I've just run through mine.

Great news John, a big step forward. Any chance this gets implemented in the competition section also? Specially the place were all the comments appear?

Just to clarify,
I have checked, each individual entrie has a add notification button.
But under the comment box in which the judge report and all the kudos appear, there isn't.

Hadn't thought that the need was as great there Martin, because we all automatically go and look, but what does everyone else think?

Well, personally I like to go whenever there is a notification, and not for the sake of it. Specially because comments appear very irregular.
The photo's themselves have the button, but forum etiquette (unwritten) kind of asks not to comment there until the judge has ruled. Just a thought of course....

Anyway......great to see the gallery has been upgraded.

Just to say I've had my first comment via the new notification button on the gallery, what an improvement.
