Vic, I don't think PhotoMe shows it but ExifToolGUI does.
Alternatively, use this site to upload an image for it: https://www.camerashuttercount.com/

Vic, Load PhotoMe and call in a recent photo from the relevant camera. Scroll down to field 42 under 'Manufacturer Notes' ( you will have to count as the fields are not numbered!) and there you should find 'Shutter actuations'.
I should add that I believe this will only work with RAW (PEF) files.

Thanks to you all. I'll have time later today to try each one.
Except that my raw files are DNG thanks Roger.

Sorry Vic! I meant to say that the shutter count info is only present in the EXIF of raw files - i.e. PEF, DNG, but obviously not jpg.

ExifToolGUI reads it from jpegs as does the www.camerashuttercount.com website.
PhotoMe seems a bit hit or miss. Bear in mind PhotoMe hasn't been updated since May 2009 so is somewhat out of date now whereas ExifTool was last updated 11 days ago.
