Different, but No.3 for me. There seems to be more detail in it but that burst of lines over on the upper RHS is great.

yes I like them, would look well enlaged and framed in one of those large office foyeys.

As a trio they might look very nice and I think they are quite commercial - I can imagine them supersized and hanging in a trendy outdoor clothing shop.

They're not bad actually - the first two work the best, especially the 2nd one because it is difficult to tell exactly what it is. It looks like hair.
In my opinion these would have failed if you could tell that they are 'just running water on a lon exposure' but you certainly can't with number 2.
The brown colour also helps to disguise the fact that it is water.
I would try some more and aim to get them even more abstract.

Thanks Karl - I think I'll have another bash and, given comments above, try to split into ones aiming for a true abstract feel, and ones where you can probably tell it's water flowing but trying to get some static objects in there as well to emphasise the flow.I would try some more and aim to get them even more abstract.
It's the sort of thing I can play at after rain and when the light's not so good here (which, frankly, is most of the time )

I prefer 1 and 2 over 3. It's easier to tell 3 is water, whereas 1 and 2 are more abstract to my eyes. 1 is my favourite! Hard to say why, maybe because it has more straight-ish lines.
