I enjoyed the video as well as the result. Thank you.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Cracking shots, and blog, if subscribed.
Little bit confused as to what lens, was actually used, Flickr exif says pentax f 35-70mm lens, but focal length say 20mm, and you say irix 15mm.
Regardless, cracking shots both. 👏👏👏
I know what i like, If not always why.

Well produced video Gareth, although I was a bit disappointed that you didn't include a bit of fishing

Thanks all!

Got me an external mic coming and possibly gonna invest in a gimbal also to make it a bit more professional and smooth.

I was shooting with the Irix but moved over to the Tokina 20-35mm as I wanted a slightly tighter crop and the Irix is great but anything on the horizon gets pushed well into the distance! I believe the images were with the Tokina but LR seems to think it's a F 35-70 lens so slight error on the video!

Regarding fishing I'm gutted. We had a few scallywags fishing at the local ponds and old quarrying and kept leaving a load of fishing line, beer cans etc so the locals applied pressure to the council and now there's bylaws in place. Shame as the carp are easily in the 30's and feed off the surface when fed.
The camera bag is big enough to hold a small spinning rod on the side!

Still a lot to master but keen to keep vlogging and spread the Pentax name!

Good phototgraphy Gareth, excellent composition.

My own preference is for the landscape version which gives a more complete picture of the seascape and coastal features.

Delighted to know you're getting a Saramonic G-mica and a dead cat! Gimbal is also a good idea. These will make a significant difference to the quality of video. The content is already all it needs to be, and I enjoyed your commentary. Keep it up, you're on to something.

Getting serious

Thanks for sharing your shots and background info. All the best for the productions ahead *thumbs up emoji*

Gimbal will help with the moving video, or alternatively for that sort of walking down to the location shot the new GoPro Hero 7 has 'hypersmooth' which stabilises this sort of thing really well too.
