Good series, #1 being my favourite. 3 and 4 have no light left in the sky but I like the speeding ships.
With #1 I like that you see a bit of the city.
And, of course, the angle of view is far too narrow.

I like #3 followed by #1
#4 is amusing but ultimately too much black.
#2 is too noisy (but that's just me)

Nice shots and no. 1 is my favourite. I thought the fisheye was super-glued onto your K10D?
Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

The first 2 were taken hand-held from the moving ferry leaving Aberdeen Harbour. I'm so happy that I got round to sorting the back-focus issues on the K10D, or these shots probably wouldn't have been possible.
I could kick my own ass for not doing it sooner.
The last 2 pictures are from Lerwick Harbour, using a long exposure and a tripod.

Bressay Ferry leaving Lerwick, 20 second exposure, that's the lights of Bressay on the right.
