The colours aren't up to Pentax standards and the shadow
detail looks very poor.
At least it seems better with the Pentax lens than the
Sony FE 35mm f/2.8 Sonnar ZA seen here... link

Great photos but my brother has an A7 and there's something about the colour rendition that turns me off the Sony. However, yours seems better than his, maybe it's the addition of Pentax glass?
Got to be a personal thing because I'm damned if I can quantify it.
Apart from that I would love a FF camera for the DOF hit I was used to getting in my film days.
Maybe I should look for an old Pentax Film jobbie to scratch the itch I cannot afford in digital.
