A walk around a Cemetery

had a misty morning Tuesday so went to Stroud Cemetery to see if there were any "atmospheric" shots, this is the result with a bit of help from the NIK collection but no added fog as nature provided that.

1. A view over about a third of the Cemetery, the mist had cleared all but the top of the hills

thanks for the comments. the only thing scary about the place is you might step on an Adder in the Summer if you stray into the undergrowth apart from that it is a perfect place for photography, lots of subject matter, use the tripod without upsetting anyone , no hustle and bustle just wonderful peace and quiet

They are indeed great places to take a camera, as you have demonstrated - #2 really takes the pumpkin !

As already said, great moody shots, 2 is my pick.

Great shots - nos 2 & 5 for me along with both nature's jewels!

Number 2 is my pick, like the way it looks as if there is a light pointing up from the ground. Natures Jewels are gems pun intended

These are very good indeed and I like the variety in the collection, however I think #1 is the weakest of the set, there's an unfortunate halo round the dominant tree. Overall though its a very satisfying set of artistic images.

thanks. I agree with your comment David , I thought it may have bee a mist-light interaction as it shows on the RAW file as well but that shot was more to show the scale of the place .so I was not too worried. an ethereal halo perhaps:
