Pentax K-5 with D-GB4 Grip, to many lenses to mention by now (serious LBA by now), TC's, Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW, Manfrotto 028 & Redsnapper RS-283 with various Heads plus various Camera Clamps (I collect them). Pentax AF 360FGZ, Pentax AF 240FT, several Metz 45 CT-1 & 5 with stands and 'Blow Up' Soft Boxes, Flash Triggers, and various Macro gear.

Very impressive. It reminds of of some ads running currently on British TV, I think they're for British Gas or something similar.
The technique used here is way beyond me.

Thanks everyone - I've created one or two of these from panos before but this was the first shot with the finished product in mind.
Info:
18 K5 jpegs with Sig 10-20, handheld with plenty of overlap between frames. Stitched in PTGui, morphed in CS4 using basically this process with no other post-processing - even on the join The finished square crop is over 30 megapixels and I'm hoping will make a decent canvas.
If you're using free software then I'm sure Microsoft ICE and GIMP are more than capable of doing this.
